9 years ago I taught myself how to use photoshop & started designing prints to decorate our tiny one bedroom apartment. I completely fell in love with graphic design & that unexpected hobby turned into me starting an Etsy shop, which grew into a blog, and lead me into almost a decade of creating. That little shop made me fall in love with entrepreneurship & set the course for me being able to do what I love every day. 💛

What that’s looked like has ebbed & flowed over the years, but I’m so grateful to 19yr old me for taking a chance, figuring things out along the way, and starting a business.

Almost three years ago to the day I closed up my small shop from a place of overwhelm (hey brand new mamas — I see you 💕), and honestly? I’m so happy I did. I’m a completely different person today than I was then & I desperately needed that space to grow into my role as a mama, breathe a little, and to find myself again.

Today I’m taking a leap of faith & going back to the beginning. Chelcey Tate Designs is BACK, y’all. 🙌😭 New sweatshirts & mugs are coming your way! I’m praying I look back on this day years from now & that I’m grateful to 27yr old me for doing the brave thing and trying again. For those of you who have been with me since the start — I love you!
