I was invited to shoot some outfits at the Hillenmeyer Christmas Shop in Lexington, and y'all ... this place is like walking into a Christmas themed winter wonderland! With evergreens around every corner, a section set up where you can design your own wreath, and the warmest little fire you've ever felt, it really does your soul good if you're in need of some good old fashioned Christmas spirit! 🎄

As soon as I knew I was heading to a Christmas tree farm I did a little happy dance for a couple different reasons, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't the most excited to finally pull this coat out of my closet! Now, friends ... Don't be fooled. This is definitely not the coveted parka from J. Crew that everyone's been rocking season after season because, let's be real here, I have much better things to drop $400 on ... like, rent maybe? 😅

That being said, when I walked into Target and saw this bright orange beauty staring me in the face I immediately ran over, and freaked out when they actually had my size.  I mean, wouldn't you have!? Oh, and it's under $100 so that's reason enough to treat yo' self even if it is kind of a knock off ... #noshame

As for the rest of this look, I've pretty much stuck with my regular theme of wearing a new outfit to death until something breaks, get stained, or my husband gets sick of seeing me in the same thing over and over because I love it so much! It's kind of along the same train of thought of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". You can't really go wrong with jeans, t-shirt, and a slouchy beanie, am I right?

Jumping off here to finally get the rest of my Christmas shopping done, because as I mentioned in yesterday's post, I'm totally owning the title of master procrastinator this year. Amazon Prime has been my saving grace! Are you one of those people that gets all of their Christmas shopping done in advance, or are you with me and keeping your fingers crossed (and paying $20+ in shipping charges) hoping that they all get here by Christmas Eve? Drop a comment below, y'all! Hoping I'm not the only one in this position four days before Christmas. 👯
