If you've taken a look at my Instagram feed lately then you've noticed I've gone a little crazy on the fresh flower front. I've talked about my total disdain for February before, and I've finally found something to brighten up my day ... and house! I introduce to you the new Diet Coke "It's Mine" designs from Coca-Cola! I mean, come on. How awesome are these!?

I think the coolest thing about these bottles is that every single one of them is unique. That means that when you pick up one of these for yourself (I snagged mine from Kroger!), it's the only one of it's kind in the entire world. I don't know about you, but that sparks the childhood collector in me. Anyone else collect rocks when they were small? Because I was definitely that kid.

There are so many things that you could do with these one of a kind bottles after you get your Diet Coke fix, but I have to say that mixing my love for caffeine AND fresh flowers in one DIY is the quickest way to my heart. Here's how you can recreate this project for yourself!

STEP 1: BUY THE NEW DIET COKE "IT'S MINE" FROM KROGER

When I popped into Kroger, they had all of the new pretty bottles and cans right where the other Coca-Cola products were. What made it even better was that there were sales on all Coca-Cola branded items, including the bottles you'll need for this project!

STEP 2: DRINK IT UP

In my opinion, this is the most important step of them all! Pop open that Diet Coke and enjoy it until the very last drop! Repeat three more times. ;)

STEP 3: RINSE IT OUT

Make sure to rinse out the bottles the best you can. I filled them all up with hot water, a small bit of soap, and let them sit for a half hour or so. My only tip here it to be sure to rinse all of the soap out ... The goal is to keep these flowers fresh for as long as possible!

STEP 4: FILL WITH WATER + ADD YOUR BLOOMS!

Last, but not least, trim your flowers to the desired length, and add them to your new Diet Coke "It's Mine" glass bottle vases! I personally have these displayed all around my living room from my desk to my coffee table ... All of the fun colors really help to brighten the space up!
